A few months ago I started Bikram Yoga , for those who don't know what it is , it's Yoga in a hot room of 40 degrees. If you are looking to Mix up your training it's great , you do 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises, every exercise is done twice. The classes run for 90 minutes. I will admit the first few times is difficult and they just ask that you concentrate on just staying in the room , also attempting every pose.
A few of the benefits you get out of Bikram are,
Increased flexibility
Increased energy
Improved muscle tone
Lowered blood pressure
Loss of weight
Improved concentration
Prevention of disease
Reduced stress
Stimulation of the immune system.
Now if you're wondering why on earth it's done in a hot room , it's because the heat helps
Relax the muscles as they are stretched, open the pores and detoxify the body as toxins are removed by sweat, prevent injury and also improve the cardiovascular workout by increasing the heart rate even though the breathing remains regular.
I often use Bikram in my SSS because you burn 800-900 calories , and afterwords I either walk around the block or go for a walk/run along the beach depending how I'm feeling after it, if anyone is interested in having a go I Highly recommend the one down in Wollongong , they have an introductory price it's $19 for 10 days or $39 for 30 days and you can go unlimited times during that time. But there are other studios around.
Below I Posted picture of the poses you do, they aren't as hard as they look I promise :D

No Gym.
It's been a month since I have been in the gym and still have a week left until I'm back in there, honestly can not go any longer than that , I take my hat off to the people who do it on the out side , for some reason I'm not motivated enough for it , on a high note next week I start work placement as a personal trainer and training to be a sports coach in school programs :D

still have around 5 to go plus toning.
Forum Name is : Krist_in
completed one round so far, Bring on number 2.
Not sure exactly what to write, so I'll start off with the pre-season task we are up to so far..
"Kitchen Makeover" probably one of the hardest tasks for me, not personally , I don't have a problem throwing the crap away but the rest of the house hold do.. so therefore the temptation is always there for me, as my little brothers lunch box food and snacks are in there and my family aren't so health food crazed as I am, so I'm currently contemplating whether or not to go out and buy my own cupboard to keep my food in so I don't need to walk into the family pantry, but I guess in a way it's good to have the temptation there to build up my willpower which surprisingly is pretty good... for now anyway.
As for a Tip hmmm , not my strong point but I do promise to make it my strong point in future post's, sorry :|
